Many thanks to Maharaj for his instructive and informative teachings both here on the blog and during Maharaj’s (brief) stay in South Africa. May Maharaj continue to inspire souls everywhere!

Dear Nirmala
Thanks for your loving words!
Well, my stay in SA was not ‘brief’!! Technically speaking I held the President’s post for a period of “7years-7months-7days”. From 26 March 2007 to 30 December 2014 is seven years 9 months!
There are monks in our Order who consider staying in a place for six years is optimum and would like to get transferred in the 7th year. I also do agree with the ancient adage that “a rolling stone gathers no moss”. This originally meant that a person who couldn’t settle down in one spot wouldn’t get much done. However, around the mid-1800s, values began to shift, and now the saying is used either without any judgment attached to it or to imply that the person on the move won’t have to be tied down or suffer from inertia:
That may be a practical consideration. More over from the spiritual standpoint, I have left it (my staying or moving) in the hands of Master and I resign to His decision. This bhakti attitude avoids lots of heart-burning, tension and peacelessness.
May the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna be on every member of your family is my earnest prayer!

Indeed it is gratifying to note your request and assurance. Yes, as I told elsewhere in these Comments Section that my Blog is nothing but a “private diary for public consumption!”
I would continue to jot down my thoughts, feelings, experiences and similar other things that can be verbalised, and flow through my journey of Life. Thanks for reading.

Aum Maharaj!
I spent half of this day re-modelling my clay image of Thakur. It is now very close to the photo image we are familiar with. It is extremely challenging to model a 3D image from a 2D photo but I think Master will be proud and so will my revered Guru, Sri Swami Shivapadananda Ji.
I feel blessed and privileged to be a disciple of this giant of a Saint if not God himself. I hope Maharaj is well and enjoying this day of Guru Purnima.

Dear Kanday
Yes, Annie sent me some photos of your creation. Marvellous! Its an art now available only in some corner most dusty villages. I am glad that specialise in Clay-modelling. Some innovative artistes still practice in Kolkata where Durga Puja gives them the opportunity to show their talents.
You are within full rights to be proud “to be a disciple of this giant of a Saint” but why do you qualify that by adding “if not God himself”?
Guru according to Sri Ramakrishna is Sachidananda alone. That infinite, One, Supreme God takes the name and form of a Guru. Your Guru is one such. He should be considered as verily the God. Nothing but that. Looking at a human form should not detract you from the essence.
May the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna be on every member of your family is my earnest prayer!
