Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj is due in South Africa this week and will be unveiling the Swami Vivekananda statue in Glen Anil, the first in South Africa. It is an imposing white statue and will hold pride of place alongside the office area, overlooking the parking lot. There is much excitement and also anticipation among the devotees here.
Today (08 September) is an auspicious day as it is our Gurudev Swami Sivananda’s birth anniversary. Hari Om Tat Sat.

Yes, I did hear about the visit of our General Secretary Revered Swami Suhitanandaji Maharaj to South Africa. Prior to that, he just came to Singapore for 2 days. The white statue of Swamiji is indeed imposing at the entrance. When one disembarks from his car, Swamiji is there standing and welcoming everyone! What a great feeling this evokes!
Four years back, I was in Rishikesh exactly on the birthday of Gurudev Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj at the Divine Life Society Headquarters attending a huge function! Indeed Nostalgic!
May the Sacchidananda Guru inspire you in your spiritual life is my prayer!
