Maharaj ji
Please accept my bhaktipurna pranam.
I am Divyanathananda, now posted at Japan as an Assistant. I just now read your reminiscences of Revered Swami Nirvananandaji Maharaj. It is so inspiring and so touching!!
Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for uploading such an interesting story. Such reminiscences are like drops of pearl on this world!! Do send such noble stories occasionally is my prayer!
With my respectful pranam once again,
Yours affectionately,

Dear brother Divyanathananda
Thanks for your visit to this blog! Thanks for your words of loving appreciation!
Glad to know that you are posted at our Japan centre. Swamiji had such praise about Japan and its people that I wanted to visit that country during my stay at Singapore. Somehow the occasion never came. However, I met Swami Medhasananda, (whom I found a loving soul) the Head of your Centre at Delhi during the Venerable Dalai Lama‘s visit to Delhi Ashrama in September 2012.
You have rightly said that these incidents described in the Post ‘are like drops of pearl’. A pearl is a valuable one compared to the ‘kachra‘ (waste) that we always have aplenty amidst us. Taking the ‘sugar’ and leaving the ‘sand’ as Sri Thakur says, is the work of a Guru and by His grace one comes to understand true worth of a pearl!
May His grace be upon you!

Thanks for your visit to this blog!
That your loving description of the script as “a soul-stirring piece” says it all about your deep involvement over the ideas of that Post. No one’s soul is ‘stirred’ unless and until that soul is imbued with the God’s grace. Understanding comes from Him as we start loving Him. I have seen your interest in spirituality even when you were just a school going girl.
Hope you have been in touch with the Ramakrishna Order wherever you be!
May His grace be upon you!

Dear Swamiji,
No matter how many times we get to hear these anecdotes from you or read the stories from your blog, each time we get so much joy! In particular, Thakur‘s story of coming down the stairs and going to the “garbha-griha” and merging into the marble image is absolutely enchanting and captivating!
We cannot thank you enough for sharing these precious incidents for us. They are truly inspiring!

Thanks for your visit to this blog!
The mere fact that these incidents are ‘enchanting and captivating’ for you shows that how much spiritually you have evolved. One of the signs of development of mind towards God Consciousness is the presence of a ‘taste’ for hearing/thinking about His glory. Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna would say that shunning idle talks on the mundane worldly things and delighting at His glory is a sure sign! In the Bhagavad Gita, Bhagawan Sri Krishna says (Ch X, Verse 9) that devotees “enlightening each other and always speaking of Me, they are satisfied and delighted”.
May His grace be upon you!

The four part series made for exhilarated reading…
It actually gave me goose-pimples and so I googled your revered Guruji and came across a very beautiful article – the English translation of his reminiscences in Sri Sri Mayer pada prante (Vol. Ill).
Here is a link!

My Gurudeb‘s reminiscences about Holy Mother is exceptional.
Originally it was written in Bangla and later was translated to English by one of his lady disciples…
Amazing that you immediately Googled for his name and found out a gem!

Revered Maharaj,
Humble Namaskars!
I am so grateful for your reminiscences of Swami Nirvananandaji Maharaj! I love to read about all the great Swamis’ lives. Their life teach us so many lessons!
Reading about your experiences, especially how Thakur gets up every morning and goes to the sanctum and sits merging into the marble statue gives me goosebumps all over even while typing this.
I am so thankful to you for telling us about all these which really affirms our faith in Sri Ramakrishna, Maa and Swamiji!
Please do keep on writing Maharaj!

Dear Purnima
Thanks for your visit to this blog!
You have rightly pointed out the gist of my learning by the grace of my Gurudev! The gist was nothing but an understanding that ‘really reaffirms our faith’ in the Holy trio. I am glad that reading about his experience everyday at the brahma muhurt of managalarati time, gave you ‘goosebumps’ while typing your comment.
It itself is a sign that your devotion at the feet of Sri Ramakrishna has been accepted by Him. He brings all those who are inclined towards Him into His orbit of affection. So, getting devotion is nothing but a reward from Him!
Saint Manikkavachakar says “avan arulale avan thal vanangi” – Bowing at His feet by His grace – is absolutely true as we cannot become a devotee unless He wishes!
May His grace be upon you!

Yes, one of three incidents came out long back in this blog! I am glad that you remember it. My visit to your home and attending other functions at Botswana have remained as nostalgic memories! Recently Sridevi who is still at Botswana wrote to me too. Stay safe.

I am glad that you found some of my personal recollections about my Gurudeb were inspiring.
Indeed whenever one comes into contact with such a mahatma, mere touch, – why, mere look even – can make that wonderful transformation. The transformation descends over the individual while he/she is not even aware of it. Such is the glory of sadhusanga.

My humble pranam at your divine feet! 🙏🕉
I have been earnestly listening to Maharaj’s most
inspiring Talks especially on the Week 29 on Holy Mother.
In this, I have found my answers to why and how our loving Swami Premananda Ji took samadhi. Today marks a month for Swamiji’s funeral.
This talk I believe, is of our Mother’s doing in giving Solace to our heart.
Thank you Maharaj for this beautiful talk providing such a deep understanding.
The message is indeed profound Maharaj!
My humble appreciation and pranam again,
Master, Maa and Swamiji’s grace be to all!

Dear Beena
Thanks for your visit to this blog!
Glad that you are listening to my Saturday and Sunday YouTube online streams!
Only a few weeks back, I learnt to my great consternation, that the late Revered Swami Premananda Ji Maharaj was in serious condition and had been admitted to a hospital at Johannesburg. Swami Chandikananda was in continuous contact with me and keeping me abreast of all the developments.
Yes, I too felt that his last days have come now. He was an exceptionally a loving and a lovable soul. South Africa lost one such sons in him. I did come across him during a few occasions especially the one when he hosted 5 senior monks from the famous and adorable Kailash Ashrama, Rishikesh, India. That was a grand work that he did. When such sadhus descend on any place, that place gets sanctified.
Yes, as his sister sibling, yours may be a personal loss too but as a devotee you have ‘lost’ him for the betterment of the society long back. Today is one month past after his funeral.
My deep condolences to all the devotees of the Ramakrishna Dham at Johannesburg and to the numerous followers.
May His grace be upon you!
